Here Without You

I started this blog a few months ago as a way to share our story with friends and family. Time seems to be flying by, and soon Philip will return home to the United States. I may consider changing the title, but for now, I am here...without him. He has a piece of my heart and all of my support. I'm proud to wait here, faithfully, while he is over there [Iraq]. Our journey has been one of a kind, although millions of families make this sacrifice every day.

Heather: I'm a teacher who fell in love with an Army Captain, unexpectedly, but it was His plan all along. I am surrounded by amazing people in my life and am excited to be on a new journey with an incredible man. God continues to bless us with insight and patience, understanding, trust and a love like I have never experienced before.
